about
'Viðnir'' meaning ''forest dweller'' in Old Norse is a song inspired by norse mythology and the Scandinavian nature. Around you you can hear the sounds of trees' barks creaking, the leaves rustling and wind blowing.
A bone flute player begins the piece with some melancholic, loud calls which are still audible far into the forest. A drum player then starts a roll and then introduces the lyre players' melody which is accompanied by the sounds of the percussion players. A tagelharpa player is present as well. Later in the song a näverlur joins in.
